Over at Viking Products the future of hollow metal is coming to life with our new high strength lightweight door.  Weighing under 200 lbs, 14 gauge high strength steel skins are continuously bonded to a trapezoidal shaped tube core proprietary to Viking Products.  Over 1,000% greater internal connections are made using a toughened structural bonding system in conjunction with fiber laser welding.  This process imparts very little heat ensuring a flat surface without warping while adding strength over current industry standards.  It's no surprise this new design passed ASTM 1450 Grade #1 with ease.
